It takes forty minutes to bike to the bus station to catch the bus that will take me to work at 6:23 in the morning.

In other news...(this is the "things" part I promised in my post title)...the guy who works at the post office confessed his affection for me. That is, he explained that he reveals all the secret ways to save money (like not having a seal or metal tab on the envelope - 20 cents extra, or going media mail instead of first class) because he is partial to me.
I just knew I was one of his favorites.
Happy Times.
