What's cool and different about Bellingham's hipsters is that they are happy. The thing they all seem to have in common is that they all wear something the hipsters in Austin commonly do not....a smile.
I'm sitting at Woods in Boulevard Park, watching a gull fly over the grey/green/aqua colored water, which is hitting the rocks against the store about 25 feet from where I'm sitting. It's the first mostly cloudy day I've seen since I arrived. Kids are out playing all over the place, it took me a moment to remember, oh yeah, it's June - summertime. I'm so happy to be here. I'm so happy to write more about it again.
